Dear All,
After a long time, my two articles were published on Saptarishis Astrology online magazine website.
The links are given below.
First one is an article on Yogada concept. In fact, it is not really an article, but a letter explaining the concept to the editor of the magazine. But, he insisted on publishing it as it is. I promised him I would add some more notes later.

Second one is article on Tara Lagna which I delivered at ICAS, Secunderabad earlier this year.
Please read them and post your comments.

Dear Mr. Shanmukha,
I read your Yogada article with great interest. Thank you!
I have a question (may be not a profound one:)
- what is the full list of argalas that you use and consider?
- should we consider argalas in D3, D9 for yodada or Rasi is enouth?
It was interesting to read about revers orderd of argalas...
Dear Sir,
Argala in Rasi Chart is enough to know strength of Yogada Planet.

Shanmukha
I'm Miss))
Thank you)
and a had another question in my 1st post
- what is the full list of argalas that you use and consider?
Dear Sir,
Threre are three different argalas, that were mentioned.
Please read my article on this site on Argala.

Respectable Shanmukha,
thank you for your great job to help understand Jaimini astrology. But the order of Argala reckoning is unclear for me.
Sri Rangacharya in his "Manual of Jaimini Astrology" said, what if aspecting planet is in odd sign, count directly, and if even sign count reversely, as i understand, this order called Prakriti chakra.
But most of Argala reckoning examples, was been with Udaya chakra order, was aspecting planet in odd or even sign, and some charts with reverse order with aspecting planet in even sign.
Please, can't You give any explanation about this?
Best regards
Gasan
Dear Sir,
Your observation is correct.
I will write another article on direct and reverse counting and when to use this prakriti chakra.

Shanmukha
...and one more question, forgive me if it looks very silly.
Is this correct to use planet's placement in sign similar to planet's aspect to sign?
Let me to bring abstract example: if in Rasi chart Lagna in 5 degrees Leo and Sun in 5 degrees Aries, that is Sun having Rasi Drishti to Lagna. And in Parivrittitraya Drekkana chart Lagna placed in Aries, and Sun placed in the same sign. May Sun being Yogada in this chart, or only Drishti but not placement is can be used here?
Dear Sir,
Your point is very valid. However, the sutra says planet aspecting Laguna becomes yogada. Scholars extend the principle to association also, which needs to be carefully verified.
IMHO, Planet aspect Lagna only becomes yogada. Exalted planet in lagna D-3 is a welcome factor though.
Hello Shanmukha,
Thank you for publishing this blog. It really helps to have an alternate view point from what is so prolific on the rest of the internet. Can you please post an article on how to calculate the different Arudhas according to your guru? There are so many theories and exceptions floating around, I am keen to know whether we are supposed to take exceptions(Jagannatha Hora) or not (Rao). What is the actual view? Please also post some explanation on how to analyse the Krishna Mishra Navamsa? I am born with Venus Vargottama in Rohini and in KM navamsa it goes into Virgo. How to understand this? Since you say read this along with Parasara Navamsa. Thank you once again for this blog.
I have often seen astrologers debating about planet degree strength to give full results. Some say if a planet is not 00 deg it can still give very good results. Others say if a planet is between 0-6 deg it is too weak to give results.
For example, an Aqu rising, Jup in 1st house in Dhanista Nak at 1.20 deg
Mars+Saturn in 10th in Scorpio in Anuradha Nak. Mars at 5 deg. Sat at 14 deg
Can Jup+Mars capable of giving full results during their MD/AD. They are getting dig bala and Mars is creating a Pnach yoga as well as its exaltation point
Jup + Mars highly placed in Shadbala calculations.
Dear shanmukh - Namaste
Glad to see you back again for writing on jaimini. Astrology needs contribution from souls like you.

...and, about examples in "Manual of Jaimini Astrology", if aspecting planet in even sign like Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, but Argala count is direct, all they are belongs to Samapada group. For Scorpio, even and Vishamapada sign count is reverse.
Dear Sir,
If I understand you post correctly, you mean to say that Argala count is direct or reverse depending on the Vishamapada or Samapada nature of the signs. Am I correct?
The relevant Vriddha Karika in this regard reads as "kramOtkramAbhyAM gaNayet ojayugmeShu", which means count is direct or reverse depending on Oja and Yugma nature of signs. Paada nature (Vishama or Sama) is only a division of the zodiac into 4 quarters and that doesn't reflect the nature of the signs . IMHO nature of the signs is intrinsic to the signs. All odd signs are Oja signs and all even signs or Yugma signs. That's it.
I hope I was clear.
Regards,
Shanmukha
Thank You for explanation. About Vishama and Sama pada is only my trying to guess why count order is different, but all signs named above are even.
I read ur theory on tara lagna.its astounding concept when i applied ur theory to some birth charts of well known persons..but thus theory failed when i applied this to two wellknown politicians like mrs indira gandhi and rajiv gandhi...please explain further
