Om Namah Sivaya
Namaste All,
The Vol.6 of Saptarishis Astrology On-Line magazine was released on 18th June. In this issue, there are three of my articles are published. One very good feature in this issue, is Sapatarshis Gurukul, which contains the answers by eminent scholars for intriguing topics in Astrology. My articles are in the part 2 of the Volume 6. You can download this issue at www.saptarishisastrology.com website. Of course, you need to be a member, which is very easy and a few clicks away.
1. Jaimini Navamsa Part -2
2. Graha Chakra
3. Manipravala Rajayoga of Jaimini
In the part2 of Jaimini Navamsa article yogas in Karakamsa for Politics and professional fame are disussed. Graha Chakra article is an introduction to the Manipravala Rajayoga. IMHO, this is the first time Graha Chakra is explained in detail with examples, where as this lead was taken by our Guru Sri Rangacharya who first explained this Graha Chakra. This Graha Chakra is very important, since it is the base for the important Rajayoga Manipravala and Amatya Yogas, of course, to determine the Dasa Karakas for Rasi Dasas and for yogas form Yogada planet.
Dasa Karakas are the linchpin for the prediction of any Rasi Dasas which has been forgotten by the contemporary internet knowledge on Jaimini. This Dasa Karaka system was extensively used by all the ancient commentators like Krishna Mishra, his son Somanatha, Raghava Bhatta etc.
In modern times, it was extensively used by Sri Vemuri Ramamurthis Sastri, the legend of Jaimini system in the last century. He never writes dasa predictions without Dasa Karakas.Though he used a no. of Jaimini Rasi Dasas depending on the horoscopic conditions, yet his favourite being the "Pada Nathamsa Dasa". As you may know this dasa was exposed by Krishna Mishra in "Jyotish Phalaratnamala", starts from sign occupied by the lord of Arudha Lagna in Navamsa Chart and proceeds in Navamsa chart only. As Arudha and Navamsa are connected with this Dasa, this is a Phalita Dasa as well as a Ayurdasa.
Regards,
Shanmukha
